Navnat Bridge Club Navnat Bridge Club (NBC) is well established affliate of NVA (formed by Late Jayantibhai Shah and Surendrabhai Mehta in February 2001). There are two session each week, Wednesday and Friday, at Navnat Centre, Printing House Lane, Hayes, Middlesex UB3 1AR, from 8.30pm to 12 Midnight. It has become a very popular within the Navnat community. The Club is like a BIG FAMILY. NBC takes part in external tournaments. At present we have 175 members. We are affiliated with Middlesex County Bridge Association. Many club members are also members of English Bridge Union. Wednesday group started in January 2007 and has fair number of new-comers to the game of Bridge. Every second Friday of the month we have an internal tournament for members only. Due to a large number of members participating; there are two Groups (A & B). The top team of each group is awarded winning trophies, which is rotated every month. The bottom three pairs of Group A are relegated to Group B and top three pairs from Group B are promoted to Group A. This makes the tournament very exciting and very competitive. Average attendance on tournament days is 78 members. NBC awards master points on a regular basis. Our Club snacks and tea is the talk of the town. Come and taste it sometimes. For a small fee any guests are allowed to play (except on tournament day), but they must inform the President at least two days in advance. Updated: 07/11/2007
