Navnat UK, supports local community in time of need

Navnat Vanik Association UK has been supporting our local community in a time of need, hence in recognition of this, we have received the below message from the Mayor of Hillingdon.

Dear Jaswantrai Doshi,

I would like to personally thank you for the generous donation of £300 to my chosen charity and can assure you that the money will be very well received especially during these very difficult times.

I would also like to thank you for the hard work of preparing hot meals for the NHS staff and volunteers at the Navnat while the building is used as a Vaccination center. It is also very good to know that the Jalaram Mandir in Greenford is joining forces to make this happen. With the weather being so cold and the hours being so long for all the staff and volunteers who are involved in the center I expect the thought of a hot meal will keep their spirits high. Thursdays must be a popular day.

I have not been to the Navnat centre since October 2019 when I was the Deputy Mayor and accept your kind invitation for another visit once all restrictions are lifted.

Once again, thank you and please pass on my sincere thanks to everyone involved with preparing food to the NHS and for the donation. I am not surprised that you have been showered with good wishes and compliments from the community it is plain to see that you are a very valued support that is needed.

Take care,

Cllr Teji Barnes
The Worshipful the Mayor of Hillingdon
